A Plea

I am feeling very emotional today. The Ethiopian courts are now open and running. Tonight as we sleep(well you not me) our case will go once more before a judge and await an approval that will give us custody of our two girls. This adoption battle, once all is said and done, will have taken one and a half years. I appeal once more to God that he will grant mercy on all of us so we can travel on October 25Th to Ethiopia and bring these children safely home.

You, your family and your two new girls will be in my prayers today. I will pray too for the judges time to be multiplied today so that the paperwork will be looked at and approved.

I believe we're going to get through this time! :-) What a long, pain-in-the-rear journey this is turning out to be! It will be so worth it in about 3 weeks or so!

I guess there was some comfort with the procedure in India in that we never really knew what was going on until we were told that all the court paperwork was finished! You all will be in our prayers that the Lord will cause the judge to get this done. Kalindi is excited to meet her new friend and both the girls LOVE babies. :-)

We gathered our family together at around 9:00 pm last night thinking the courts were just opening over there. We have been praying the judges will quickly process the papers, that you would have rest and peace and receive word soon that you can bring your beautiful daughters home. With love, The Aldrich Family p.s. Love the slide show.
