Candy Canes and Christmas Dresses

The Christmas season has officially begun at our home! The annual tree cutting took place last weekend as well. We drove out to the tree farm and selected a beautiful 10ft noble. After the women selected just the right tree, it was the guys tough job to cut it down and put it on the car. Of course the gals stayed busy while the men worked by securing the photos for posterity and shopping at the quaint Christmas bazaar on the property.

The lights are another one of the guy jobs at Christmas time and ours do a fabulous job!

The little girls picked out their own Christmas dresses this year and had a wonderful time getting all dressed up Saturday night for their first Holiday party.

I found your blog from a comment on Lisa's. Look forward to getting to know your fun family.

I LOVE the dresses. Just tonight I was looking at those exact dresses at Fred Meyer, and wondering how the black velvet tops would look on my beautiful African daughters. We have a wedding to go to the weekend before Christmas, so the girls would have 2 places to wear them in 1 week. :)

Oh my.......so beautiful in so many ways. Your children are gorgeous, your family is gorgeous, your hearts are gorgeous!!! I cried when I saw E in that dress. What a transformation inside and out for this little girl, I can see the love and joy exuding from her. When I saw her last in the TH, she did not even know you as her family, and no her face has a different look, it is so touching and beautiful to see this!!

Love,
Andrea
