This is my sweet father. He is eighty-seven and a new convert to the Christian faith. He will be baptized in just two weeks and will receive his first communion. All I can say is, "WOW! and Praise God!" I hope I never get too rigid to remember that God is not finished with any of us yet and you are never too old to be born into the family of Christ! We are celebrating along with the angels in heaven!

WOW!! God's love and grace are so amazing. I know that your walk of faith and the pure love of his many grandchildren played a huge part in the LORD's work in His heart and life. I loved the picture. You can see his grandpa pride and love.

I found your blog through my friendship with the Holmes family. What an encouragement to read about the salvation of your father! I will renew my praying for my 81 year old father!
We are a large family (8 children) who are in process to adopt from Ethiopia. Your children are beautiful! And I noticed that thankfulmom commented here as well. We were members of the same church for 7 years until recently when our family moved away.
